Jennifer Lopez’s Masterclass in Making Every Outfit Look Like a Billion Dollars "There’s no denying that Jennifer Lopez is the poster girl for loud luxury. While the star’s remarkable red carpet style practically screams “opulence,” her jaw-dropping winter capsule wardrobe is arguably just as lavish. During the colder months, J.Lo rarely steps outside the house without slipping into sophisticated staples like plush faux fur coats and cashmere sweaters. The A-lister has even managed to unequivocally elevate laid-back pieces—namely chunky boots and baggy jeans. Her secret to mastering a rich-looking outfit? Accessories, of course. Besides wearing sleek sunglasses and shimmering jewelry, she often totes an array of extravagant bags—some of which cost upwards of $100,000. However, recreating Lopez’s rotation of wealthy uniforms doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Ahead, you’ll discover a collection of J.Lo’s classiest chilly-weather looks that will fit right into your closet—from sweaters paired alongside trouser-like jeans to figure-hugging knit dresses coordinated with kitten heels. Your guide to expensive style awaits—just let Lopez lead the way.   A Blue Mood J.Lo’s favorite color is green, but by the looks of it, blue might just be a close second. (Image credit: Getty Images) from Marie Claire While shades of sapphire rank high on the list of this season’s color trends, Lopez has made a case for both navy and turquoise. Here, she flawlessly showcases how to combine the two vivid hues in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming."   SHOP THE LOOK: Dion Wool & Silk Sweater - $248.00 Sizes: XS - XL Color: Navy / Black Explore the Sweaters & Cardigans collection here.  Read full article - Marie Claire

These Style Mavens Show You the Best Ways to Wear Winter Whites This Season "Once upon a time, there was a dreaded, overwrought fashion rule that whites, creams, and ivories had to be reserved for a small window of the calendar year (and that small window was summer). Over the past month, I’ve seen all-white ensembles executed in an array of iterations. From monochrome looks fit for the slopes to standout dresses festive enough for parties, fashion lovers and celebrities alike are embracing the chic neutral for the season, each with their own twist on the aesthetic. If you need a little help to coax out your inner ice princess, look no further. The ensembles below will give you all the inspiration you need to pull those lighter hues out of hibernation. Ahead, browse some of my favorite white outfits for winter.   Tonal Dressing GETTY IMAGES - From ELLE Every winter mood board I’ve created thus far features multi-toned elements that creatively pair tones and textures. The Chicest People I Know Are Wearing This Surprisingly Elevated Legging Trend Image from Who What Wear 'Friends, please don’t come at me for putting “elevated” and “leggings” in the same sentence. I’m just here to *gently suggest* that there are some legging outfits I’m seeing out and about that feel surprisingly polished. I'm putting it down to a sudden uptick in one very specific (and somewhat controversial) legging style: '80s-inspired stirrup leggings, which are popping up as a trend in stylish neighborhoods from New York to London to Amsterdam. For those who need convincing, I've come armed with photographic evidence of six very chic outfits with stirrup leggings—none of which involve puffer jackets (although, I have to tell you I've seen some great puffer jacket outfits in New York lately) or anything that could be mistaken as athleisure. Could stirrup leggings be the chic black pant style our winter wardrobes have been missing? These looks are collectively making a pretty strong case.   (Image credit: @lindatol_) from Who What Wear Linda Tol's covetable pregnancy style has seen her wearing stirrup leggings on heavy rotation this winter, usually styled with turtlenecks and one of many great coats.'   SHOP THE LOOK: Canal Stirrup Pant - $178.00 Sizes: XS - XL Color: Black Shop Rue Sophie’s Pants collection. 13 Winter Outfit Ideas That Bring a High-Fashion Spin to Practical Dressing "Raise your hand if you often find yourself waking up on a cold winter morning with no idea how to put together an ensemble you're actually excited about. Whether that means channeling a timeless aesthetic (old Hollywood après-ski vibes, anyone?), playing with texture and silhouette, or integrating current trends (crystal mesh, pastels, and the like) in unexpected ways, it's never been easier to become the chicest person on those frigid streets. Resort Darling Image from @nnennaechem / Instagram Hitting the slopes (or hanging out with a warm drink while your friends do so)? There's never been a better situation to embrace winter whites. My Week of Very Regular Outfits "Let’s get into the looks, if we can even call them that—outfits feel a little more apropos. For context, it’s around 40-55 degrees in NY these days. My outings involve subway rides, coffees, and slipping into a crowded dining room with a girlfriend and sparkling water at the end of the night. I can’t change from one outfit to the next, so a lot of the time, my outfit has to last 12-16 hours. And the worst part? I have to carry my laptop most of the time. So you can forget seeing any tiny bags. When I’m not running around, I’m working from my apartment where a degree of decorum keeps me on task. But I’m not committed enough to wear high waisted silk trousers to take a Zoom from my dining table. It’s a balance of comfort, feeling pulled together, and exercising my creative muscle in outfit assembly.   Saturday: Date night in Brooklyn Getting dressed for dates is something I figured I’d be spending a lot more brain space on as a kid. Doesn’t that seem like the thing a 28 year old would do on a Saturday night? Stand in front of their closet pondering what outfit to pull? This skirt suit is Rue Sophie (top and bottom) Image from Erika Veurink Well, it happens semi infrequently over here, but tonight, my husband and I are set to our favorite restaurant in New York. I don’t want to discuss the new ownership—too soon—so instead, I’ll be sporting something a little sexy. Emphasis on little. My husband is pretty accustomed to us stepping out in matching menswear. A tuxedo jacket he couldn’t borrow? A real cause for celebration. I paired it down with boots and a simple bag. My favorite accessory has to be wavy, undone hair. Curls are great, but the texture I get from the Odele Texturizing Sea Salt Spray? That’s next level." SHOP THE LOOK: Bijoux Blazer - $228.00 Bijoux Skirt - $128.00 Read full article - LONG LIVE
