The Chicest People I Know Are Wearing This Surprisingly Elevated Legging Trend Image from Who What Wear 'Friends, please don’t come at me for putting “elevated” and “leggings” in the same sentence. I’m just here to *gently suggest* that there are some legging outfits I’m seeing out and about that feel surprisingly polished. I'm putting it down to a sudden uptick in one very specific (and somewhat controversial) legging style: '80s-inspired stirrup leggings, which are popping up as a trend in stylish neighborhoods from New York to London to Amsterdam. My Week of Very Regular Outfits "Let’s get into the looks, if we can even call them that—outfits feel a little more apropos. For context, it’s around 40-55 degrees in NY these days. My outings involve subway rides, coffees, and slipping into a crowded dining room with a girlfriend and sparkling water at the end of the night. I can’t change from one outfit to the next, so a lot of the time, my outfit has to last 12-16 hours. And the worst part? I have to carry my laptop most of the time.
